The City of Warsaw Mayor and Board of Aldermen convene on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday's of every month at 6:00 PM. These meetings take place in the Council Chambers in the basement of the Warsaw Community Building located at 181 West Harrison Street

The Board of Aldermen for the City of Warsaw has formally adopted a set of rules and procedures to guide the conduct of its public meetings. These rules are designed to ensure that meetings are conducted in a fair, orderly, and transparent manner, in accordance with Missouri state law and best practices for local government.

The Mayor is elected in even-numbered years to serve a two-year term. To qualify as a candidate, an individual must be a registered voter, at least 25 years of age and must have resided within the city limits for at least one year prior to the election. The Mayor presides over meetings of the Board of Aldermen but only votes in the event of a tie.

The City of Warsaw is divided into three wards, with each ward represented by two elected aldermen. Aldermanic terms are staggered, with one alderman from each ward elected annually during the April municipal election.

To be eligible for election, a candidate must be a registered voter, at least 18 years of age, a resident of the city for at least one year prior to the election and must reside within the ward they seek to represent.
