Community Building Community Building

The Warsaw Community Building has been a central part of the downtown Warsaw community since 1936 when it was built using 38 men employed with the WPA (Work Progress Administration) labor using native stone donated from the Lay Quarry, just west of town. 

Over the years, the Warsaw Community Building has been host to many events, including: Jubilee Days concerts featuring the likes of Vern Gosdin, Moe Bandy and Barbara Mandrell; the Missouri Invitational Celebrity Turkey Hunt, fishing tournaments, many pageants, banquets, family reunions and birthdays. 

The building also housed the city's municipal offices for decades until their move to their current location on Main Street in 2020.

Upstairs, the Warsaw Community Building currently houses offices for the Warsaw Area Chamber of Commerce, Benton County Tourism & Recreation and Benton County Economic Development.  

In the basement, the building provides offices for the Warsaw Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, as well as the city's council chambers.

The Harbor Room is also located in the basement where nearly 3,000 sq ft of wide open space provides opportunities for meetings, banquets, reunions, birthday parties and more.
